Azizi brings over 20 years of leadership experience across corporate and commercial banking, debt advisory, and credit risk management. He has held senior executive roles with leading financial institutions including MARC Ratings Berhad, MARC Solutions, Ipmuda Berhad, Alkhair International Islamic Bank, RHB Bank (Labuan), Asian Finance Bank, Bank Muamalat, UOB Malaysia, and AmBank.

He is currently Vice President, Business Origination & Development at MARC Ratings Berhad, where he drives bond and sukuk ratings across sectors including infrastructure, energy, transportation, and telecommunications. Previously, as Vice President at MARC Solutions, he successfully led debt advisory and restructuring projects, closing deals worth over RM40 million.

Azizi has an extensive track record in corporate & commercial banking leadership, debt advisory, capital markets, sukuk/loan structuring, and risk management with proven ability to reduce NPLs and improve approval processes. He has contributed to major cross-border financing including USD-based syndicated loans for SapuraKencana Petroleum (USD2bn) and Genting IPP (USD1.2bn).

Education: Bachelor of Science in Economics from Northern Illinois University, USA.

A seasoned leader born in Kampung Sega, Raub, and raised in Kampung Budu, Kuala Lipis, Dato' Dr. Suhaimi bin Ibrahim has built a career defined by a deep commitment to governance and community development. After completing his early education at Sekolah Kebangsaan Budu and Sekolah Menengah Clifford, Dato' Dr. Suhaimi bin Ibrahim pursued an extensive academic path, earning a PhD in Politics and Government from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2013. His academic credentials also include a Master's in Educational Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Sociology from Universiti Malaya, complemented by executive training at world-class institutions such as the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Dato' Dr. Suhaimi bin Ibrahim has held significant administrative portfolios, including serving as the Political Secretary to the Prime Minister and the Political Secretary to the Minister of Women, Family, and Community Development. A former State Assemblyman (ADUN) for Benta, he also dedicated years to grassroots development as the State Director for KEMAS in Pahang, Penang, and the Federal Territory. His influence in youth advocacy is profound, having led both the Malaysian Youth Council (MBM) and the Peninsular Malay Students Federation (GPMS) as President, while also serving as a consultant for the UN and UNESCO on global youth development.

Today, Dato' Dr. Suhaimi bin Ibrahim remains a central figure in the corporate and social sectors as the Chairman of Koperasi Belia Nasional (KOBENA). Within the private sector, he brings his strategic expertise to a major trustee company as a shareholder and Principal & Head of the Credit Committee. Furthermore, Dato' Dr. Suhaimi bin Ibrahim continues to drive social impact as Chairman of the Malaysian Youth Foundation and Yayasan Sayang Malaysia. His lifelong contributions are recognized by numerous honors, including the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP), the Darjah Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz (DSSA), and being named a National Youth Icon.
